Trackside Teen Center is offering a Girls’ Self-Defense class for teens in grades 6-8 on Wednesday afternoons, from 4:15-5:15 p.m., Oct. 19 through Nov. 16.

Students will gain a basic understanding and awareness of when and how to use various self-defense techniques. Students should wear comfortable clothes and sneakers to class.

The Instructor for this class will be Wilton resident Lisa Bohacs, who has been involved in the Martial Arts for 37 years. She is a 5th degree black belt and has been teaching for 33 years. Bohacs competed nationally and internationally for the U.S.A. As a member of four U.S.A. National teams, she has taken two individual silver medals and one bronze in women’s heavyweight fighting and two overall team gold medals.
