With Valentine’s Day just six days away, you might be smack dab in the middle of the hunt for the perfect gift. There are options aplenty at Wilton stores, and shopping local is the best way to say, “I love you!” to local, small business owners.
There are also gift options that help Wilton non-profits and organizations that do a lot of GOOD in town. Whether it’s the satisfaction of knowing you’ve supported a volunteer or charitable organization, or that you’ve found a way to both treat your loved one and boost their favorite cause, GOOD Morning Wilton has found some Valentine’s Day gifts sure to make your heart beat faster.
Woodcock Nature Center
Looking for the perfect Valentine for the animal lover in your life? “Adopt” an animal from Woodcock Nature Center‘s collection of ambassadors including Pancake the Bearded Dragon, Indira the Red-Tailed Boa, and everyone’s favorite, Chubbs the African Bullfrog! Starting at only $25 you’ll receive a personalized letter for your Valentine from the animal of your choice (there’s plenty to choose from!) plus a photo. For that extra-special Valentine, add a personal meet-and-greet with your “adoptee” and one of Woodcock’s educators. All proceeds support animal care at the nature center. Pick-up of Valentine adoptions will be arranged prior to the holiday. Find out more on the Woodcock website.

Trackside Teen Center
Surprise and delight everyone you wish to share a little love with this Valentine’s Day by adding them to Trackside Teen Center’s Wall of Love.
Submit your loved one’s name and a special message to be added to the Valentine’s Day Wall on Trackside’s website.
Trackside officials suggest donating in honor or memory of a friend, family member, pet or wonderful person in the community; wishing someone a Happy Valentine’s Day; telling someone to get well soon; or simply tell someone you that they are special to you.
The suggested donation to Trackside is $5 per heart. Messages will be posted on Valentine’s Day, Sunday, Feb. 14.
Tuck a Wilton Strong car magnet into an envelope or bigger gift and help out two Wilton non-profits at the same time: Trackside Teen Center and Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Purchase on the Trackside Teen Center website.
