Six Wilton dancers are getting the opportunity to dance one of the most classic ballets ever choreographed alongside soloists from the New York City Ballet this weekend. That’s when Megan Case, Nicole Case, Sarah Case, Grace Stapkowski, Charlotte Stapkowski and Alexandra Fordsman take the stage to perform in the upcoming Ballet Etudes Company production of The Nutcracker at the Westport Country Playhouse.
Charlotte Stapkowski and Megan Case are students at Cider Mill Elementary School; Fordsman is a student at Our Lady of Fatima; Sarah Case and Grace Stapkowski attend Middlebrook School; and Nicole Case attends Wilton High School. These talented dancers will be performing alongside New York City Ballet soloists Georgina Pazcoguin (Sugar Plum Fairy) and Zachary Catazaro (Cavalier) in the beloved, traditional holiday ballet.
Performances will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10 and Sunday, Dec. 11, at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on both days. Tickets can be purchased through the Westport Country Playhouse box office by calling 203.227.4177 or online via the Playhouse’s website.
