Always a Wilton family favorite, the Wilton Library’s Summer Reading Program kicks off this Friday, June 17 with a celebration, from 1–4 p.m.. This year’s theme is “Welcome to the Jungle of Books” in honor of the Library’s new Children’s Library entrance. Kids can come and sign up for a summer of reading fun, and enjoy a bounce house and jungle games and activities.

Children can register on Wandoo Reader, an online reading log to keep track of their reading anywhere they go all summer long as long as they have an Internet connection. By reading and then logging in, kids will be eligible for benchmark prizes throughout the summer. The Summer Reading program runs from June 15 – September 5, and is sponsored by Scoops, Subway, and The Toy Chest.

Children under 8-years-old must be accompanied by caregivers; children ages 8–12 years must have caregivers remain in the building. Wilton Library is located at 137 Old Ridgefield Rd..
