Wilton Police are investigating a rash of vandalism incidents that occurred throughout town between July 4-8, 2019. Lt. Robert Kluk of the Wilton Police says that during that time, multiple separate incidents with damage of more than $2,000 were committed in multiple locations. They are seeking help from the public in tracking down the perpetrators.

Among the incidents:

  • Wildwood Rd., two mailboxes damaged (overnight/early morning hours July 3 into July 4)
  • Carriage Rd., one vehicle’s windows smashed (overnight/early morning hours July 3 into July 4)
  • Linden Tree Rd., two mailboxes damaged (overnight/early morning hours July 3 into July 4)
  • Linden Tree Rd. two cars’ windows smashed (overnight/early morning hours July 3 into July 4)
  • Millstone Rd.  one car’s window smashed (overnight/early morning hours of July 5 into July 6)
  • Millstone Rd. driveway light was smashed (overnight/early morning hours of July 5 into July 6)
  • Old Wagon Rd. two cars’ windows smashed (overnight/early morning hours of July 5 into July 6)
  • Carriage Rd., mailbox smashed (overnight/early morning hours July 7 into July 8)

All Vehicles were parked on the side of the road at the time of the vandalism and rocks were used to smash the windows.

The Wilton Police Department is asking for information or video on that could help identify the individuals responsible for these acts. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Wilton Police Department at 203.834.6260.
