Each week the Wilton Town Clerk’s office releases data for the prior week’s real estate transactions. From Friday, Apr. 24 through Apr. 30, 2026, Town Clerk Lori Kaback reported seven properties that changed hands.
Important: Please note that the Town Clerk’s report contains limited information. For details, read the document on file in the Wilton Town Clerk’s office. These land transfer reports are available on the town website.
GMW makes an effort to find current photos from recent real estate listings, websites such as Zillow.com, or mapping services such as Google Maps. In some cases, photos may be from previous real estate listings or town appraisal/land records.
Key Highlight: Spring is surely in the air with seven sales making the grade this week, including another historic home on Danbury Rd.
The Lewis Hurlbutt House, a Colonial Revival was built in 1909 by Lewis F. Hurlbutt. Board Chairman of Merchant Bank (Norwalk, CT), Hurlbutt never married and lived predominantly with his sister, Josephine. The land which 475 Danbury Rd. was built upon, remained entirely in the Hurlbutt Family for the majority of the nineteenth century. This home is one of the very few Colonial Revivals built in the early 1900’s, (a period of steep economic decline). Most recently it was repurposed for commercial use, as home to Dermage Spa, which has now relocated to South Wilton.
