I feel like I keep on repeating myself because another cool and unsettled weather week (June 5-11) is in store for Wilton. At least this weekend will finally be a nice and warm one because the past couple have been chilly since Memorial Day.
Monday, June 5: Monday won’t be too terrible of a day aside from the clouds and cool conditions. There is the chance for a shower, but the majority of the day, if not all of the day, will be dry. There’s an equal chance for rain practically at any time of your Monday.
Tuesday, June 6: Tuesday should be a much wetter day in comparison to Monday with periods of rain throughout the day. The wettest period of the day appears likely to be midday and the driest is expected to be during the morning commute. That won’t compensate for the gloomy and even cooler conditions, however. Highs will be April-like, only reaching the mid 50s!

Wednesday, June 7: On Wednesday, we are still stuck under the clouds and showers. The weather pattern is so stuck or stationary that the moisture will continue to just sit over the Northeast. Therefore, a few more showers will be possible from time to time on Wednesday. At least temperatures will be back on the upswing.
Thursday, June 8: Thursday will be our transition day as the weather pattern will begin to change. Temperatures will be close to where they should be for this time of the year along with a mix of sun and clouds. Because we are transitioning out of this ugly weather trend, there is still the slight chance for rain.

Friday, June 9: A new pattern will start to build on Friday, which will be a gorgeous day to end the week and the third-to-last week of school. It will feature mostly sunny skies with high temperatures in the mid 70s.
Saturday, June 10: Good news as we get into the weekend, as I mentioned before–that dry, bright and mild weather on Friday looks likely to stick around. As of now, Saturday will be another picturesque day, featuring mostly sunny skies and temperatures close to average.
Sunday, June 11: Things will really heat up on Sunday–finally–as a “Bermuda high” sets up off the East Coast. The clockwise flow associated with that high pressure will allow warm air from the Caribbean and the South to stream northward all the way toward New England, leading to highs in the 80s under mostly sunny skies.
