On Saturday, Dec. 9, Woodcock Nature Center concluded its annual Wreath Festival with a “Family Fun Day” decorating celebration attended by nearly 100 families. The two-week festival, which sold-out in minutes, welcomed over 1,000 guests and raised $80,000 for the nature center’s programs in environmental education. Each year, the popular event pairs the decorating of balsam wreaths with relaxing by a roaring fire among friends in Woodcock’s picturesque pavilion.
The board and staff at Woodcock Nature Center wish to express their gratitude to event sponsor Fairfield County Bank as well as all the dedicated volunteers and friends who helped to make the event a success including:
