The 4’s classes at Zion’s Hill Preschool Program hosted their traditional Thanksgiving Feast last Friday, welcoming their parents as well as some special guests from the community, including police officers, veterans, and GOOD Morning Wilton‘s editor.
Helped by the classes’ teachers and parents, the children presented a complete Thanksgiving meal, including turkey, stuffing, veggies and more. The tastiest dishes were the applesauce and cranberry dressing prepared by the preschoolers themselves.
“It’s one of my favorite events at the school, and the children do such a wonderful job creating place settings, preparing food and practicing songs. They are so excited to welcome the adults and to practice the art of gratitude,” says parent Kinley Welly.
The parents were grateful to the classroom teachers who helped guide the children through the unit, including Christine Smith, Marissa Generoso, Sally Healy, Kristen Pierson and Sarah Harris.
